BodyFit trainers are Utah’s finest – maximizing your time to get maximum results. Regan Zachrisson is a certified BodyFit trainer with seven years experience in health and wellness. “I love seeing people succeed,” says Regan. “BodyFit gets results that you won’t find anywhere else because we create personalized programs that makes sure people reach their goals.”
One of Regan’s star clients is Carrie, a successful businesswoman, entrepreneur and mother of two. Carrie has decreased her body fat percentage by almost 5% in less than a year. “I’ve always been athletic and worked out in the gym regularly but had never worked out with a trainer before,” says Carrie. “The difference was immense. I can’t get over how much different my body looks after working with a trainer.”
“Carrie has achieved great results because she commits herself 110%,” says Regan. “She puts in the time every week inside and outside the gym and is so diligent about her nutrition.”
“I think you push yourself harder when you’re working out with someone,” says Carrie. “How many times would I think ‘I’m tired’ and not go to the gym, but knowing Regan’s there motivates me to work out and push myself.”
“Regan is amazing. She’s such a positive, great source to have as a trainer,” Carrie says. “Every workout we do something different. I’m never bored and I learn something new every week, which I love. I’m definitely in the best shape of my life, no doubt about it!”

Start off 2008 the right way by planning ahead! Instead of a season of holiday of excess, this year “Maintain – Don’t Gain.” Three ways to stay on track:
- Keep score. Take your measurements now, before the holiday season starts. Re-take your measurements each week and you’ll be more aware of your fitness.
- Keep a diary. If you’ve never kept a food diary before, this is a great time to start. If you know you’ve got an office party coming up and you plan to binge, reduce your intake for a few days prior to keep balance. Be strictly honest with your diary and you won’t have to take drastic measures in January!
- Keep moving. It’s easy to let your exercise routines slide during the holidays. Find new ways to add movement to your day – taking the stairs, parking in the outer limits when you do your holiday shopping, scheduling ‘mini workouts’ wherever you can. You’ll not only be more likely to keep off the pounds, you’ll also alleviate your holiday stress!

You’ve bought your season’s pass, gone to the ski swap sales, got your gear ready to go – but are you ready for the slopes? Now’s the time to shake up your workout routine to prep for ski season. Increase your stamina and reduce your risk of injury by:
- Increasing your cardio. Mix it up with different activities and increase the frequency and duration of cardio in the weeks prior to ski season. Build your endurance and you’ll enjoy your day a lot more!
- Focusing on legs. Work now to increase leg strength and reduce fatigue and risk of injury during the season. Rev up the intensity of your strength workouts focusing on your quads, hamstrings, glutes, inner/outer thighs and calves.
- Remembering your core. Skiing can take its toll on your abs and back. So incorporate exercises to protect your spine and build strength in your abs and lats.
